Tyre Trading International B.V. (T.T.I.) gained a majority interest in Van Aalderen Twen-Tyre B.V. in January of last year. Ever since, both old family owned companies work together in the sales of car tyres, but nevertheless they continue to operate independently: T.T.I. in Numansdorp and Twen-Tyre in Almelo. The new strategic alliance is paying off, as in one year time the turnover of Twen-Tyre has already grown by more than 50%.
The successful year of Twen-Tyre is partly thanks to the cooperation with T.T.I. The sharing of knowledge between both companies, the intensive cooperation, the involvement of customers and the enhanced personal service have led to this revenue growth. At the moment, the sales market in the region will be further increased, to obtain more strength on the commercial side.
Our service remains strong
Our customers will continue to optimally benefit from the four-times-a-day delivery service that the tyre wholesaler from Almelo is known for. Thanks to the combined purchasing power of both tyre companies, Twen-Tyre has also been able to further expand their range, which leads to even better deals for our customers. With new brands such as Avon, Sailun and Torque Allseason, a new market is reached, while existing brands such as Toyo, Hankook, Rotalla and the Falken test winners remain available.
T.T.I. and Twen-Tyre are the exclusive distributors of the Avon tyre brand for the Dutch market. The British tyre brand is known for its superb service, good quality tyres and an excellent margin.
T.T.I. focuses on the future
According to Peter-Alexander van’t Hof, merging with strong partners – who share a similar background and share the same business values – is a prerequisite for better support for suppliers and faster customer service in today’s turbulent market. “T.T.I. and Twen-Tyre complement each other perfectly with the brands and products we carry, so that customers of both companies can be served even better”, says van’t Hof.
